Optiphen Plus
Optiphen™ Plus is a liquid preservative compatible with a broad spectrum of formulations and not based on paraben, formaldehyde or halogens. It offers effective protection against bacteria, yeast and mold growth. Optiphen™ Plus it offers excellent heat stability, works across a wide pH window and is easily solubilized in water.
It is ideal for slightly acidic personal care products. Optiphen™ Plus performs best in formulations with a slightly acidic pH value of pH 6 or below. However it has also been proven effective at pH levels above 6.0, depending on the formulation.
Can be added directly to the formulation during pre- or post-emulsification at or below 80°C.

Recommended Usage: 0.75-1.5%
Suggested Applications:
- Rinse off Cosmetics such as shampoo, conditioner, face and body wash.
- Care Products such as cream, emulsion, lotion, gel and wet wipes.
